Taiho Oncology Supports Efforts to Help Those in Need During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic impacts – directly or indirectly – every one of us. In response to the many challenges faced by communities in some of the hardest hit areas of the United States, Taiho Oncology, Inc., is proud to contribute to relief efforts through its support of the following nonprofit organizations:
New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund: The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF) assesses needs and works with foodbanks and charitable organizations in New Jersey, providing grants to these organizations that are committed to caring for vulnerable communities. One hundred percent of every dollar received online by NJPRF goes to organizations that provide essential services to those in need and to assist those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Business Bistro: Business Bistro is a New Jersey-based food service organization that is providing boxed meals to several area hospitals for first responders and medical staff on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with larger organizations, religious institutions and smaller groups, Business Bistro is delivering 500 boxed meals to the Princeton Medical Center and other hospitals currently treating patients.
Bucks County Opportunity Council: The Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) is the designated Community Action Agency (CAA) for Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The mission of the Bucks County Opportunity Council is to reduce poverty and partner with the community to promote economic self-sufficiency. As the lead food agency in the county, BCOC distributes public and private donations to over 60 food pantries, senior centers and other sites, and is continuing to operate its food program and increase other services to help the most vulnerable throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Food Bank For New York City: For over 35 years, Food Bank For New York City has been working to end food poverty in the five boroughs. As the city’s largest hunger-relief organization, Food Bank employs a multifaceted approach centered on helping low-income New Yorkers overcome their circumstances and achieve greater independence.
